So a Kotaku report says that a Grand Theft Auto remastered trilogy is in the works for multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, and it's coming this fall. The trilogy will include: GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. They are being remastered using Unreal Engine and will include "new and old graphics" while they are "trying to stay true to the PS2-era GTA games as much as possible."
The report also states that the trilogy is planned to launch around late October or early November for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and Stadia, while PC and mobile may be pushed to next year as they are focusing on console.
If this is true I am excited about this but also a little cautious because I do wonder how the remasters are going to look and play. By today's standards, those games are clunky and I'm worried about that. I guess we'll have to wait and see. What are your thoughts on this possible remastered trilogy?
