More Battlefield 2042 drama provided by DICE

Battlefield 2042

So everyone knows by now that Battlefield 2042 is in some serious trouble as the player base is shrinking and new content isn't coming to most likely March. Hold on though, it seems DICE wants to pour gasoline on the fire. First DICE removed the Rush and Team Deathmatch game modes from All Out Warfare, which players have enjoyed and wanted DICE to keep them in AoW. I think you can still find Rush/TDM in Portal but no one is playing Portal because you get little to no XP in it.

Also Andy McNamara, Director of Communication for Shooters at EA, tweeted that the Battlefield player base has brutal expectations for the game, which came off the wrong way that upset a lot of gamers, because you know, they (myself included) bought a broken game. Check out the first video below, the one by Crash Games who talked about Andy's tweets, and I agree with him.

Then we have Kevin Johnson, the BF 2042 Community Manager, where he asked on Twitter about the weekly missions and their rewards. YouTuber Lossy replied asking if cosmetics that altered a weapon could be a reward and Kevin's response sounded like that would be complicated and wouldn't be free. I don't think Kevin understood exactly what Lossy meant though. Check out the second video below, the one by USA Specialist who talked about this tweet and response.
