Yup another zombie game is being developed, this one is named Projekt Z and it's an upcoming free-to-play first-person co-op shooter game set in World War 2. The game is being developed and published by an Indie studio named 314 Arts. As you can tell from the gameplay video below, it still needs a lot of work but could be a future hit for zombie fans.
From the game's Steam page, Projekt Z is a free-to-play first-person shooter set in a WW2 Zombie scenario on a secret German island. The game focuses around the "Projekt Z", a project run by the Nazis to turn Zombies, which have been discovered on the island earlier, into weapons to turn the war around in Nazi Germany's favor. On the Island, you will discover various secret Nazi projects related and unrelated to "Projekt Z".
For me, this game looks like it needs a lot of work especially with animations, but the game's atmosphere really felt eerie which is good. Also the game looks like it's going in the realistic/hardcore direction as there is no crosshair or much UI at all on the screen, which I'm not really a fan of but I know others love. The screenshake from when the player shoots also felt weird and not something I would want to see constantly, but that's just me. If you're a zombie fan definitely keep an eye on this one. The game's Kickstarter will launch on April 29th.
