Today Battlefield released a new gameplay trailer for Battlefield 2042's Season 3: Escalation, which is coming on Tuesday, November 22nd. You can watch the trailer below and I also included a summary video by YouTuber TheCadWoman where she goes over the new weapons, the new map, the new Specialist, the new tank, and the return of the EOD Bot. She also included a second shorter video which showed more of the new map and the new battlepass.
When the developers said the new map was going to be "infantry-focused," I was expecting a map to not have tanks, air vehicles and tons of open space between flags (besides the two flags inside buildings). There are 8 flags total on the map and only 2 flags are inside and safe from vehicles for infantry. What great design for an "infantry-focused" map (obvious sarcasm).
