So apparently DICE leaked some of the content coming in Battlefield 2042 season 3 themselves and here's what we know so far. The new Specialist coming in season 3 is named Rashid Zain. Zain's unique weapon is the XM370A semi-auto Airburst Rifle. You may remember the annoying Airburst Rifle from Battlefield 4, and it sounds like it will be similar to that weapon. I swear DICE keeps bringing back annoying things from past BF games and I have no idea why, it's like they want to annoy the playerbase even more. Zain's trait (passive) is that they regenerate health twice as fast after killing an enemy.
Also coming in season 3, is the EMKV90-TOR tank and new weapons: the Roche Mk-4 railgun and the NVK-S22 smart shotgun. The railgun will most likely be similar to the railgun pickup that came in Battlefield 4's Final Stand DLC. The "smart shotgun" worries me a little and hoping it's not an aimbot.
