Today Battlefield posted a new trailer (below) and blog post about a Battlefield 2042 season 3 event coming named "Battle of Nordvik" and the event will cover 3 weeks, each week bringing a different game mode. Week 1 (12/20-12/27) will have a 32 vs 32 Conquest Assault game mode where the defending team will start with them holding all objectives. Week 2 (12/27-1/3) will have a 16 vs 16 Retribution game mode which sounds like "Frontlines" from past BF games, where it combines elements of the Conquest/Breakthrough/Rush game modes. Week 3 (1/3-1/9) will have 128-player Breakthrough Chaos game mode. You can read more about the event and the cosmetic items it will bring via the official blog post.
