Today EA had a livestream, The Future of FPS, a spotlight ahead of the big EA Play Live event on July 22nd, with IGN's Stella Chung hosting a chat with Vince Zampella, Founder of Respawn and Group General Manager, Chad Grenier, Game Director of Apex Legends, Christian Grass, General Manager of Ripple Effect Studios (formerly known as DICE LA), and Oskar Gabrielson, General Manager of DICE. There wasn't much new information given but it was fun to watch people who are passionate about their games talk about them and also talk about past experiences and future possibilities. The only new information we got was that the game mode that the DICE LA/Ripple Effect Studios team is working on will let players play on fan-favorite maps in Battlefield 2042; and we learned that ranked Arena mode is coming in season 10 of Apex Legends.
