Today Battlefield released their Battlefield 2042 Season 1 Zero Hour gameplay trailer, showing off 1 new map, 1 new Specialist (Ewelina Lis), 2 new weapons (Ghostmaker R10 Crossbow and BSV-M Marksman Rifle), 2 new stealth gunships (RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal), and a Smoke Grenade Launcher. Yes, that is correct, that is all that is coming with season 1... wow... amazing. As someone said in the YouTube comments, season 1 should be renamed to Season 1: Zero Content. LOL.
The season 1 battle pass has 100 tiers where players can unlock free and "premium" (when you pay for the battle pass) content. Free tiers give players access to the new Specialist, weapons, vehicles, cosmetics and more, whereas the premium tiers unlock skins, BFC (in-game currency), player card backgrounds, weapon charms, takedowns and more.
