Warframe's TennoCon 2022 happened yesterday and many upcoming things were revealed. I tried to put together a list of the biggest reveals below. If anything is missing, please let me know.
Quick summary of what was revealed during the events of TennoCon 2022:
- Cross-play testing is coming first, community testing is coming soon; all timers will be synced across all platforms (Baro Ki'Teer, relics, Nightmare missions, etc); cross-save work will be done after that.
- Khora Prime is here (relics with Khora Prime parts are in-game now)
- New Nightwave is coming today
- A wolf-inspired Warframe is coming
- New content, VEILBREAKER, is coming soon, watch the trailer below. This quest will have players play as Kahl-175 (the Grineer soldier you played as in The New War quest).
- Warframe's 50th frame will be Styanax, will be spear and shield-wielding inspired; we will learn more in an animated short.
- Duviri Paradox is coming in winter 2022. Watch some gameplay in a video below. In the new upcoming open world, Duviri will have no bounties, no fishing and no mining (as the other open worlds have). The Warframe community says thank you very much!
- Titania Deluxe and Xaku Deluxe
- Dominus Thrax - This character appears to be the "boss" of Duviri
- There is a new Archon that looks very similar to Erra
- DE is partnering with another studio to make a new MMO game, which will be revealed at The Game Awards show later this year.
- Maybe the biggest news of the event is that Digital Extreme's Creative Director Steve Sinclair is moving on to work on DE's new project, Soulframe; and Rebb Ford will be the new Creative Director.
- Soulframe, inspired by Princess Mononoke, will be a free-to-play, open-world game in a fantasy setting with melee combat.
