On Monday, State of Decay 2 had an update that brought the much anticipated Update 30 to the live game. You can read the Update 30 patch notes here, which goes over the major changes/additions to the game. The main updates in this patch are: Forever Communities, legacy recruitment, refreshed legacy pool, supply locker improvements, moving maps and starting new communities, and quality of life improvements. There are currently a few bugs that they are working on fixing, so I would wait until they patch the game and fix those bugs before you start playing. See the second video below about those bugs.
